Where do you find the freebies on the internet? The internet is overflowing with free offers, but it can be time-consuming to weed through the scams and spam to discover truly great deal. Let me help you find the freebies I use on the internet so you will be able to say nay to the people who say you can never get something for free. There are a couple of facts you should be aware of when you are signing up for free stuff. Most sites will ask you to provide your full name, address and phone number. If you are asked to include personal information like your social security number or credit cards don’t do it. Always check the website’s privacy policy for offer details and how your information may be used. I tell many people who do not like to get spam in their inbox to sign up for a gmail, hotmail or yahoo email account all are free of course. Use this email address for your freebies. Facebook is another avenue that many manufacturers give away free products. Start your own facebook page even if you don’t befriend one single person you will be able to sign up for the freebies. You always can check out a facebook wall for any comments good or bad about the freebie you just signed up for. There’s a difference between a deal that comes from a friend or a reliable blog and one that arrives out of the blue. If a pop-up ad or unfamiliar e-mailer invites you to cash in on an offer, I would recommend avoiding it. The product manufacturer is the best place for samples, followed by other major chain store websites like Walmart, CVS, Sam’s Club and Target which will periodically have samples available. One of my major bills is my cable. I always am looking for ways to reduce this bill. I did decrease the number of channels I receive while using www.hulu.com as a source of watching my favorite shows. This site carries the best selection of TV episodes, along with classic and newer flicks. You also can check out www.cbs.com , www.abc.com or www.nbc.com to watch the most recent episode of your favorite shows. All these sites are free. Watch your shows on your computer, iPad or even your phone. Don’t forget to sign up on Redbox.com to receive your free movie code via text every first Monday of the month.

Don’t forget to use one of our most valued places to get things free, the library. Check out your local library online to get 24 hour access to their library’s eAudiobook collection or download one of their eBooks on your computer. I am still alive just barely. I have had a fever and sore throat for the last three days. I don’t know what happened because I really don’t ever get sick. I will tell you what I have been doing last week it was helping a friend de-hoard her house. She finally asked me to help her and it was a overwhelming process. We only finished one room. I then went home and cleaned out my attic plus garage. I felt so much better being able to walk in my attic. I still don’t have room to park a car in my garage but I am working on it. One thing that it did help me do is stop buying things. I really don’t buy alot and now the items I buy will either be meant for a certain persons presents or a small stockpile of backup toilet paper, paper towels. Take a look at your closets, your attic plus your garage. If they are full take the time to purge your stuff. Even though I got sick I am glad I did it.

I spent today with a plumber cleaning out a backed up sewer line at one of my rental proprieties. This is one chore that I couldn’t do myself but there has been many projects that I have done myself with help of my local Home Depot store. The last job I did was replace a toilet. It went smoothly with help of a Do-It-Herself Workshop last year teaching me how to redo your bathroom. This February learn how to install Crown Molding on February 16 starting at 6:30pm. My Home Depot does a great job teaching along with freebie drinks and snacks. I personally will try a project and if it doesn’t work out I call a professional. I always say give it a shot especially to replace a faucet or even a toilet. There are many professionals at any home improvement store that will answer any questions. Don’t feel embarrassed asking that what they are there for.

When I talk to people they tell me they never see the sales that I see. I tell them you just have to look and don't be afraid to step up and ask. This week I was in San Francisco visiting my husband he is out there for work. He has a cute apartment but the one item he wanted was a couple of chairs. We didn't want to go buy more stuff that we will need to get rid of when he is done so we waited on the chairs. I stayed at the apartment one morning while he was working and I looked outside as the neighbor was putting four beautiful chairs on the sidewalk. I ran down and asked her if I could have the chairs she smiled and said they are all yours. I did have to carry each chair up three flights of stairs - cardio for the day but was my husband surprised when he came home. Just goes to show you that you never know when a deal is going to come your way.
