The Fru-Gal Column

One task you can do to save money is evaluating your monthly bills. I started this process by going to my insurance company. I had them print up all my policies then when I looked them over we discussed how to adjust them to my current needs. I also found mistakes that I would never have noticed if I didn’t have them all printed out for me. Call up your cable company, cell phone company, internet service and telephone company asking them if they have any other deals for you or if your current deal is the most adequate for you. When you see added expenses on any of your bills that probably means you do not have the right plan. I personally have gotten rid of my landline and don’t miss it at all. Remember that you are paying these companies for a service. If they don’t want to help you then tell them you will go elsewhere. I bet then they will change their focus in your favor.
