When you go shopping keep your eyes wide open. Products have giveaways, coupons and rebates associated with promotional events. For example, this past Christmas, there was rebates available from Coors Light and Heineken for money back with the purchase of gift cards. The beer companies love football season giving away some great rebates and coupons. Remember, in Kentucky beer purchase is not required.

Now in stores you will see the following offers:
■ Go to Bud Lightto get up to $300 off qualifying Sharp TV’s or deals on Superbowl coolers. Look for the Bud Bowl display for a pamphlet with savings and recipes inside.

■ Coors Light is offering a mail-in refund of $10 when you purchase $30 worth of Tostitos chips, Tostitos dips, Pepsi soft drinks, condiments, plastic cups, ice, paper plates, and/or deli items. Check displays for form.

■ Save $6 via mail-in rebate on the purchase of a new pair of jeans from Michelob ULTRA. Check displays for form.

■ Kroger is offering a great deal this week with their MEGA event. Buy 10 participating products then receive $5 off your shopping order – this is an extra 50 cents off per product. Use a coupon on top of that deal and you will save extra dollars. Check out the ad athttp://www.kroger.com/

■ Nabisco Snack Crackers are included in the above MEGA event. Use $1 coupon in last Sunday’s paper for extra savings.

Kraft foodsare offering a $10 mail-in rebate when you buy 10 participating products.

■ Included in the Kroger Mega Event is Post cereal. Register for Post Cereals newsletter to receive your $2 coupon off Post cereal. Final price after deal will be 19 cents a box.
