Let’s go on a shopping journey. Last Sunday’s paper had three sets of coupons this would be the time that you would want to buy two papers. Get $20.00 and start shopping with me! Let’s begin our travels by visiting your local Walgreens. First stop is the cleaning aisle with the purchase of two bottles of Tilex Mold and Mildew cleaner on sale two for $5. Use two $1.00 coupons from coupons.com making the deal two for $3.00 getting $2 back in register rewards. Move on to the Cough and Cold aisle to purchase Hyland’s Cold n’ Cough for kids on sale for $4.99. Print out $1.50 coupon at healthesavers.com. Use your previous $2.00 register reward making this deal $1.49 but you will receive a register reward for $4.99. Going to the health and beauty aisle you can purchase Vaseline Sheer Infusion Lotion for $5.99 use your $4.99 register reward making this $1.00 and you will also receive a $5 register rewards. Next buy two Clorex 35 pack Wipes for $5. Like Clorox on their facebook page then click on “Home” then “Products and Offers” to receive a $1.00 coupon hit the back key a couple of times should print out another coupon. http://www.clorox.com/special_offers/ Plus purchase Emergen-C Supplement for $3.49 use your $5.00 register reward final price will be $1.49 getting back $5.49 in register rewards. I personally would buy two packages of Charmin 6 double rolls for $2.99 each using my previous register rewards making the deal 19 cents.

Here is the recap for your Walgreens shopping trip. You do need to do these deals in separate transactions or do one deal and save all of your register rewards for next week sales. This is what I bought, two bottles of Tilex Mold and Mildew Cleaner, two bottles of Clorox Wipes, Hyland’s Cold ‘n Cough medicine for kids, Emergen-C Vitamin C supplements, Vaseline Sheer Infusion Lotion and two packages of Charmin 6 double roll toilet tissue. What did I spend (I am not including the tax), final cost $7.17. There are plenty more great deals that I didn’t even mention so look through your weekly sales flyer.

Let’s continue our shopping trip to your local Rite Aid. Let’s start by purchasing two bottles of Gillette Body Wash $4.00 each match that up with two $2.00 coupons in 9/26 Sunday paper. Next purchase two Old Spice deodorant and two Old Spice Body Spray for $4.00 each, match that up with two buy one get one free coupons in 9/26 Sunday paper. Purchase two Pantene shampoo or conditioner, match up with $1.00 coupon from 9/26 Sunday paper. Watch RiteAid’s video value to print out $4.00 off $20.00 purchase coupon. Remember you need to give them the $4.00 coupon first before they take of the rest of your coupons. You also will receive $10 UP reward and $2.00 mail-in RiteAid rebate. Making this deal after UP reward and rebate costing you only $2.00. Once again look at your sales flyer for many more deals.

Here we go to your local CVS store. Be ready for Halloween when you buy four bags of Hershey’s Snack-size candy for $2.50 each. Use $1.00 coupon from 9/26 Sunday paper and you will receive $3.00 in extracare bucks. In the same transaction purchase two Olay daily facial cleanser for $5.00 each. Use two $2.00 coupons from 9/26 Sunday paper and you will receive $5.00 in extracare bucks. In your next transaction buy one Oral-B Vitality toothbrush for $23.00 use $10.00 coupon in 9/26 Sunday paper, along with your $8.00 in extracare bucks from previous transaction and you will receive $13.00 in extracare bucks. When you are done with both of these deals you will have $13 in extracare bucks to use for your next shopping trip and you initially only spent $7.00.

Get over to Target for some great cleaning deals. Pledge Multi-Surface Duster Kit is $2.84, use $1.00 Target coupon from Target.com along with $1.00 coupon in 9/26 Sunday paper making this product just 84 cents. Shout laundry stain remover is $2.24, use $1.00 Target printable coupon along with 55 cents coupon in 9/26 final price will be 69 cents. Pledge wipes are $2.94 use $2 for two pledge products Target printable coupon along with $2 coupon in 9/26 Sunday paper final price is 94 cents each. You now should have plenty of cleaning products costing you only $3.41.

Using all the above scenarios you have a very big haul of products for just under $20.00.

I just want to tell you what I am doing this weekend. I am going to be entering my horse in the Secretariat Look-a-like contest at the Secretariat Festival this Saturday in Paris, Kentucky. The festival starts at 9am at the Fair Grounds. It does cost $10.00 per carload or $5.00 per adult, children 12 and under admitted free of charge. There will plenty of entertainment to celebrate the release of the movie “Secretariat”.
