Frugal Forum April 23, 2012

I am called many different names like frugal and cheap but one that should go on the list is being environmentally friendly. My brand of frugality does not fall into the extreme environmentalist but it does incorporate my family’s frugal ways of saving money while saving the earth. Being frugal in your home and budget incorporates using less. When a frugal person tries hard to be conscious of repurposing items or fixing an item it not only saves money but puts less waste in a landfill. The frugal family turns down the heat a couple of degrees or makes sure all the lights are out when they leave or hanging clothes outside to dry saving money and the earth. You may not even know all of your frugal habits is making you a environmentalist. Happy Earth Day! Go outside and enjoy nature for FREE!
